Amy Polefrone, MPA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CVR is an experienced leader with more than 25 years of experience in human resources. She is the President/CEO of HR Strategy Group, LLC, a human resources consulting firm that specializes in human resources and advisory services, compensation services, and customized training solutions for growing companies. Amy has extensive experience working with clients in nonprofits, high tech start-ups, telecommunications, information technology, insurance, education and other small business sectors. She focuses on executive HR management consultations with the CEOs and CFOs at the organizations she serves.
Prior to starting HR Strategy Group, LLC, Amy held HR management positions at major corporations and worked in various HR roles within government agencies, and taught as an adjunct instructor at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
Amy served as a Presidential Management Fellow through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management from 1993-1995, serving at the U.S. Agency for International Development and NASA-Goddard Space Flight Center.
Amy heads up the Search & Recruitment Practice, the HR Advisory Services Practice, and HR Crisis Management. She serves as Engagement Lead on all client projects. Known for her drive and positive attitude, HRSG clients enjoy the access that they have to Amy and her team's fast attention to problem solving.
Lindsay Moore, MA, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced HR leader with more than 10 years of experience in management and human resources. She is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with HR Strategy Group, LLC, a management and human resources consulting business that specializes in human resources advisory services, management consultations and coaching, customized training solutions, and career development services. Lindsay has extensive experience working with federal contractors, real estate, healthcare, telecommunications, information technology, insurance, higher education and small business & non-profit enterprises.
Prior to joining HR Strategy Group, LLC, Lindsay held HR management positions in both real estate and government contracting industries. In both settings, she built the HR department from the ground up. Lindsay has hands-on experience managing, transitioning and implementing companywide system changes to include HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, applicant tracking and 401(k). Lindsay has an extensive background in recruiting and has effectively recruited and managed various levels of professionals.
Lindsay heads up the practice team for HR Services for Federal Contractors and she works as a key consultant in the other practice areas. Clients marvel at Lindsay's attention to knowledge, detail, friendliness, and follow-through on work deliverables.
Lindsay received her Master's of Science from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD, with a focus in Counseling Psychology. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation. Additionally, Lindsay is a graduate of the BB&T Leadership Institute Mastering Leadership Dynamics program.
Lindsay is involved with various community and professional organizations such as Howard County HR Society and Montgomery County HR Society.
Donna Miracle-Canuel, SPHR is an experienced HR leader with more than 20 years of experience in management and human resources. She is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with HR Strategy Group, LLC, a management and human resources consulting business that specializes in human resources advisory services, management consultations and coaching, customized training solutions, and career development services.
Prior to joining HR Strategy Group, LLC, Donna held HR management positions at a variety of small and mid-size businesses and worked as an Employee Relations Manager with Coca-Cola Enterprises.
Donna heads up the HR Compliance & Audit Practice at HRSG. She has successfully assisted several HRSG clients with payroll, 403B/401K audits, and with creating customized employment handbooks. Clients are thrilled with the responsive feedback and attention to detail that Donna provides. Donna uncovers and fixes clients' problems with a smile.
Donna received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Donna is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and holds the Senior Professional in Human Resource Resources (SPHR) designation, the highest designation available to HR professionals.
Donna is actively involved with various community and professional organizations. She is a founding member of the Howard County HR Society, has served as the President of the Trinity School's Home and School Association, is a member of the Trinity School Board of Directors Personnel Committee and is a Girl Scout troop leader.
Karen Ward-Linker is an experienced consultant with more than 15 years of experience in management, sales, and human resources. She is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with HR Strategy Group, LLC, a management and human resources consulting business that specializes in human resources advisory services, management consultations and coaching, customized training solutions, and career development services. Karen has extensive experience working with telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and non-profit clients.
Karen works with Amy in the Search & Recruitment practice, handling high level HR and nonprofit director searches. Clients are impressed with Karen's go-getter attitude and fast turn-around. She loves helping clients find the "right candidate for the right job." Karen uses her strong knowledge and business experience to help her clients find the right candidate to do the job. Karen works with senior executives to make sure that "get it right" in understanding what type of candidate will be successful in the workplace.
Maggie Brooke is an experienced HR leader with more than 15 years of experience in management and human resources. She is a Senior Human Resources Consultant with HR Strategy Group, LLC, a human resources consulting firm that specializes in HR advisory services, search and recruitment, HR crisis management, and HR compliance & audit for growing companies. Maggie has extensive experience working with small and mid-sized organizations in various industries including manufacturing, health care, insurance, law firms and hospitality.
Maggie uses her strong knowledge and business experience to partner with organizations to align human resources practices, priorities and programs with overall business strategy. Maggie works with leadership teams on developing and implementing initiatives such as regulatory compliance, employee and leadership development, policy development and implementation, implementation of effective recruitment and retention strategies, benefits design, performance management systems, employee communication programs, and change management strategies.
Maggie received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Western Maryland Collage and her Master of Science in Human Resource Development from McDaniel College. Maggie has earned dual certifications in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
Maggie serves as a board member for the Carroll County, Maryland Society for Human Resources Management as its SHRM Foundation Director and was their past Director of Diversity and Inclusion. Maggie has also volunteered for the Maryland State SHRM council at their 2016 Annual Conference. Maggie volunteers for various community youth sports organizations and lives with her family in Westminster, Maryland.
